Pig on a spit

Good bye Croatia! We left the beach on Friday afternoon (the Grant girls are not beach people so we were ready to ship out). We headed North and made it just shy of the Italian border. We stopped at a little pension for dinner and beds. We had dinner in the terrace out back. For breakfast we had typical European faire (breads, meats, cheeses, and cappuccinos). At many of the roadside restaurants they cooked suckling pigs on a spit. We watched them put the pig in the case. May become a vegetarian after that.
