We went to the Konigsee today (near Berchesgarten). We road these electric boats from the little town to two different spots for hiking. At the first stop we had lunch and the kids played in the water. The water was an amazing crystal blue with definite lines where the depth changed (this can be seen in the second picture).
At the second stop we hiked about 45 minutes to Obersee. The highlight of this stop was when the cows came lumbering down the mountain (with cow bells ringing) to drink from the lake. The last picture is of Obersee.
The third picture is of the Watzmann mountain. This is directly behind St. Bartholoma.
