We toured the cathedral and climbed the towers when we were in Paris last week. We walked around the Latin Quarter this evening and took this picture during our walk.

The roundabouts are growing on me. If you miss your turn, you just go around again--you just have to ignore the commentary from the back seat..."Mom, we're going in circles."

Never been so happy to check into a basic Novotel hotel.

Our last B&B (4 nights) left a lot to be desired. I guess when the proprietor serves you your hot chocolate in her bathrobe, you know it can't be good.

About 5k each way--getting some exercise to counteract all the croissants!

City of Rennes

Walked into the city center today. Lots of rain--will need to look about buying another umbrella tomorrow. It just isn't possible to fit 4 people under our little pink umbrella and still walk!
